omg, haven't updated my blog since oct 27. more than a month! haha. anyways, i just had my guzheng exam yesterday. totally flunked it. i soo gonna fail. ahh! made so many mistakes. but what done is done, i cant rewrite the past. sigh. but the examiner was like damn friendly and nice man. and he even gave me a small wrapped bag full of small sweets and snack! so nice right. then although i made like a ton of mistakes, he was still damn nice. :)
oh, and i took off my braces already! took it off in nov. forgot the date exactly. xP oh, and i started seeing a dermatologist (its a skin specialist) for my acne problem. stupid acne problem. i like to think that after using the products he gave to me, my skin has "improved". but it just may be an illusion i want to believe in.

(ris low, its all your fault!) then coz i heard over the radio that our new miss singapore world is Pilar Arlando, i looked her up. i also heard from the radio too that when she was asked when the merlion became extinct, she said 1965. omg, what happened to all the singaporean girls!!!! have we gone retarded??? sigh, in singapore, we girls can only have one trait: smarts or beauty. some have none. xD but some damn lucky people have both which is totally unfair. and those who have both dont want to waste their time with useless beauty contest, which i think is pretty understandable. and all those who have both beauty and smarts and enter the competition dont win at all. (i only know one, our miss singapore universe 06 or 07 was actually a vet) argh, what has the world turned into????

omg! yesterday was like damn eventful! whopieee!
in the morning, i was like busy talking to my parents and bro about how excited i am for family nite. then i talk talk talk so much that i forgot to bring my art file! argh! die ah! i only noticed that when the car was like damn close to the school. so i had to ask my dad to drop the file off at the general office where i had to collect it during recess. xD SORRY DADDY! im getting old, man. omg. then, during recess, collected my art file. then went to staircase. then wenqi, manda, candy and louise went to play with my wallet! waahh! my meimeis so mean! sniff sniff. haha. jk. then they started playing with their own wallets. damn funny lah they all!
then blah blah. then had test. i thought that i wouldnt be able to finish it but i was able to! but i only wrote 131 words! argh! i scared i miss out some points. sniff sniff. then stayed a while and waited for tricia and peishan and bus-ed back together.
then reach home go bathe etc. then went to school at around 5.10pm. then half way to school, hazel saw me and we walked to school together. so then reach school already right, then eugene immediately pass all the admin things to me. waah! then i had to organise the WHOLE alumni. ahhh! then alot of people asked me questions and i somehow or rather became incharge. (hazel was like "wow! this is the first time im so proud to be Nerissa's friend!" then i was like "wth, i never made you proud before meh! then everyone started laughing)then i didnt even eat dinner! or any snack! i just drank 2 packets of green tea throughout the whole family nite event! then jasper came! haha. so i cannot kill him already. haha.
then the thing in the beginning very messy. i was very disorganised. xD then at first there was a misunderstanding with the parent volunteers and the students so Mr Derek Tan clarrified their doubts. then i had to run around the whole friggin place like a mad womman coz i had to check with the stall vendors and parent volunteers and students something. i like suddenly partially became incharge of the whole thing instead of nothing. then, after all that. i could finally report to my stall, water splash! haha. then i kana dunked. haha! but damn fun leh! (i was wearing a white shirt. then i think micole said"eh you are exposed!" then i started covering my chest and said"who you know?! Pervert!!!" then she said stop covering my chest. then i refused to coz im exposed. then she asked tricia and hazel whether can see. then they say no. then i was like "stop staring at it!" i have perverts as friends!)then tricia, micole hazel and i walked around. we got our hair dyed!!!! haha. my fringe was red and one streak was green. haha! mic's was green fringe, hazel was red fringe and tricia was blue fringe. haha! then went to buy and walk and talk and talk.
then, halped out at the stall again. my leg friggin hurts form the kneeling. coz we cant block the other student's view, we had to kneel down. owwww! (oh ya! i just remembered something! im taller than cleavon!!!!! woohooooo!!! haha! finally im taller than one guy in our class!) then levinson said to me"eh? why you P1 still here!" wth!!! he damn tall already lah! not fair. so are the other guys in my class! sniff sniff.
then miss r got dunked! woohooo! then before that, she was like "i cant get dunked coz people will be turned on!" haha! miss r so cute lah! then gao lao shi, mr muz, Mr Derek Tan (vp) and Mr Martin Tan(principal) got dunked! haha! damn funny lah. then while kneeling, levinson kept on pushing me to make me fall lah! humph! then the thingy ended after Mr Tan got dunked. so then we kinda left the stall. then tricia, hazel, micole and i kept on talking to miss r. then talk a lot of crap. then they were like saying alot of things about me which i wont say. humph! then micole was singing and dancing to the music! so funny lah! then xuanfu called and said that he would be coming. (before that he had training) then we all went to the canteen to talk talk talk with miss r. then talk until damn funny lah! then we all were laughing. went back at almost 11. then stayed up till almost 1am to talk to tricia hazel and xuan fu on msn. haha
i want to rewind time and go back to yesterday again!!!!!

erm, this is a continuation (i dunno how to spell) of the pervious post about what happened on teachers day.
erm went to school as usual then had to present HE. aiya. i was like super nervous. then after we let the class view the video, miss lin said "well done" !!!!! omgomgomg! im damn proud of the video lah! haha. then after that we went to watch the teacher's day concert. the concert was soso lah. not that fantastic. but i was like laughing my head off when the teachers were performing! haha! damn funny! mr tay was like "grow up!" with the hand action! haha! super funny! then mrs lee was like super chio! haha!
then when the concert ended, i met up with tricia and peishan to bus all the way back to ANDERSON! haha (ohya, the day before, my pm on msn was "Anderson, im coming backkkkkkk!". then micole said that it looked like that i was longing for a guy called anderson! haha) so when we reached anderson, saw a lot of my seniors and schoolmates! then ate lunch there. i miss anderson food! haha. then talktalktalk! then saw miss r, but she said that she still have supplementary (not soo sure of the spelling) with her current p6 class until 3pm. so we waited. then while waiting, tricia yolanda and i were like playing retarded lame games like concentration and the "gimme tempo ready go" thingy. haha! then levinson and yoyo was trying to step on each other's feet for i dunno what reason. lol! (oh ya! before that. every single friggin person i met said that i shrunk!!!! i did not shrink! huh! they hurt my feelings!) then we waited and waited and waited. haha!
then we finally saw miss r!!! woohooo! then we sat at the back of the canteen and started talking about seriously random things. then tricia yoyo and i were seriously damn HIGH and HYPER! haha! we started dancing to poker face. (we sang "cant read my, cant read my, cant read my. no he cant read my POKER FACE!". when we sang that, we covered our faces and then when we said poker face, open our hands to reveal our faces! haha!) then we were also like "i am a tree!" haha! ddamn retarded. then we started dancing to nobody, YMCA! haha! we were super high! then erm micole started dancing to "hey mickey" then i was like singing with her! "oh mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind. HEY MICKEY! HEY MICKEY!" haha!
then we all settled down, we started talking.
MISS RAHIMAH KEPT THE COMPOSITION I WROTE LAST YEAR! omgomgomg. when she said that, i was like omg. so cool. that was the compo i got 36/40 for! haha! if i ever get it back. i'll post it. im damn proud of my compo lah! haha. highest in class!

im updating again! applause applause! *clapclap!* ( i deserve an applause for every post! ) haha. erm im going to blog about teacher's day!
erm, om saturday, my family and i went to amk hub to like do the marketing at NTUC and then do last minute teacher's day shopping. then my mum went to NTUC while my dad, bro and i went to popular outside the hub to buy the teachers day stuff. then tricia, peishan and i decided to buy this vase then inside have little notes to Miss R. so i had to buy the thing than i also bought other things for my other teachers. i bought this frame for Mr Too which said "you have everything it takes to be the best.......including a student like me!" HAHA! i love my ego. :) then when i went to pay, i didnt take the box for th vase and the frame, so the people asked me to wait. then the cashier took the vase. so a while later, another person came to pass me the box for the frame so then i walked outta the shop to go back into amk hub to meet my mum.
so we were like talking talking talking (my dad, bro and i) then when we were at the door of amkhub, my dad was like "then you have to remember to ask tricia and peishan for the money for the vase" then i was like, "eh, why my plastic bag so light ah?" coz the vase was kinda heavy. then i looked inside the plastic bag then i realised THE VASE WASNT THERE! omgomgomg. then my bro and dad were like "WHAT?! YOU FORGOT THE VASE?!!!!" lol. so we had to walk all the way back to popular then walk all the way back to amk hub again. xP then i think the total distance we walked was like 1km i think. haha! then when we went to meet my mum, she was like "wah, the first time i finished shopping earlier than you!" then we told her the whole story in the car on the way back and we were all like laughing about it all the way until we reached home. then we started laughing again! xD\

erm, then i got distinction for NSW science!! yes! first time i get DISTINCTION for NSW sciene. woohoo. bu them havent pass us our certificates yet. cry. then i even beat levinson! woohoo. he got credit. then erm,i became class vice chairman. erm, im still recovering from the shock. miss fizhah asked be to go out of class yesterday and then she asked if i wanted to be class vice chair. so i was like "erm ok". ~~but inside my heart, i was like hell yeah!~~ then when i went back into class everyone, like seriously EVERYONE, wanted to know what miss fizhah told me. then miss fizhah announced. but before that, like just before miss fizhah asked me to go outta class, i was like sticking my tongue out slightly to the right of my lips coz i wanted to see what was on the white board. so then while my tongue was still out, miss fihah asked me to go out. so i was relating ther story to my parents then i said "i has got to be the tongue" when they asked my why miss fizhah chose me. LOL! omg, im still laughing at that!!!!! but trust me, being a vice chair is not easy. just the 2nd day and im wondering if i can survive for the remainder of the term! i absolutely ADMIRE atiqah.

pizza and harry potter!!!!

gonna blog bout thursday and yesterday.
on thursday, our class planned to have pizza hut on that day coz we won the $200 pizza hut thingy and then we intended to spend it. :) so ms fizhah told us all to stay back until at least 3pm plus coz mr too only finish lesson around that time. so then while waiting, i did my homework. im such a guai kia! lol. then played cards with xinhe, vijey, fred, xinying etc. then i was like trying to explain a game then everyone didnt understand at all lah! omg lah, i suck at explaining things lor! xD then went to fitness corner to meet up with wenqi, wenyi, candy, manda, louise. then they were like watching the guys play soccer. so sit quietly and watch. and ransacked hong wei's wallet. xD by that time, it was already 3pm. so i asked zhenhao where the pizza was, then he said vijey and fred following mr too to buy the pizza.
so then , i went to the class to do work again. then this time, i was joined by xinhe, zhenhao and zhithon. then we all were laughing at zhenhao's inability to spin pens. i know we are so mean. then they were like saying some disgusting thing which i do not wish to mention on my clea innocent and pure blog. xD
lol.
then dunno who went to the class and said that the pizza would only come at 4.30pm and thatb was when debate would start. so i was like whinning. then xinhe, zhithon and zhenhao were like saying "shut up lah!" -.- luckily the debate was held at the canteen and it was over like super fas. :) then went over to eat pizza again. xD

erm, in the morning, i followed my brother and the rest of my family to SJI for my bro's audition. he said that he made a few mistakes, but otherwise, it was ok. i spent my time over there readding "A Thousand Splendid Suns". super nice. i intend to finish it before the week is over. :)
then went to AMK hub to watch harry potter and the half blood prince!!!!! OMG lah! super nice! soo funny! Lavander Brown is super funny lah! so idiotic! then harry was like super funny when he took the liquid luck! LOL! when they were like buring Aragog, Hagrid was like saying why humans are afriad of Aragog then harry was like "not to mention it spincers" then he was like using his index fingers to show the spincers! super funny lah! omg, i can continue forever if i dont stop now! argh! i need to watch it again!
then went to NTUC to get a few stuff and then daddy dropped me at YCK statioin to wait for xinhe, morris and yueyang. the morris got there first and wanted to buy instant noodles coz he didnt eat lunch. -.- then while we were waiting for yueyang and xinhe, he kept on eating. -.- then when they arrived, we walked all the way back to my house. then they very noisy leh! yueyang and morris were gaying the whole way. -.- then xinhe asked if they brought PSP, then morris took out his mathematical set box. -.- it have a suprising similarity to a PSP case from a distance! then when reach, we did the poetry slam. then coz the poem is about "gaia" we typed that in yahoo then some erm, suggestiveimages of women, came out then xinhe, morris and yueyang were like laughing like crazy! then coz the competion will be held at St Andrews which is a boys school, they all were saying that can put those images then they will be so amazed and will earn more points. -.- actually , it kinda makes some sense. but we didnt put it coz we are clean minded poeple. :)
then so we made a short clip! woohoo! im so proud of myself man! first time i made a video! LOL! er, then xinhe, morris and yueyang went down to playground to play soccer with my bro. then after that, we edited a few other things then they went back. :)

erm, i just finished reading the kite runner. :))))))))
erm, i decided to read it coz i already had the book since my mum had already bought and read it a longlonglonglong time ago. and the book was recommended to me by a lot of people. and probably the most important reason is that i had to stop reading harry potter books before i start becoming a crazy obsessed fan girl. not nice.
but the book is really goog. i mean its kinda sad, but its really an eye opener. and i look the twist and turns in the story. and the ending was sooo sweet! awww. sorry, im a sucker for happt endings... xp
however, no matter how sad the situation was, i didnt even manage to shed a single tear! everyone who has read the book said that they all actually CRIED!!! my mum said she was crying throughout the whole book. but i hadnt even managed a single tear. not one!OMGOMGOMG! am i really that heartless?! even when hassan was sodomised, i didnt even cry! argh, what creature have i turned into?!
anyways, since im not crazy over harry potter now, i shall continue my craze for mcfly. :))))

urgh, have not been blogging very often now. argh, my blog is DEAD! so i shall reincarnate it! haha.
anyways, school started on monday. sigh. so the first week of school was kionda ok lah, i suppose. there is this new guy in our class, Hong Wei. he was from Deyi Sec. anyways, WELCOME to 103!!! you are gonna love it here! :))) erm, oh ya, and everybody was getting, still is getting over the shock of tricia with rebonded hair. HAHA. the first thing peishan said to me when i saw her was "Did you see tricia with rebonded hair?!" LOL. im still trying to get over the shock.
erm, only 1 month of holiday and i have already forgotten the craziness of school life. when i got into class, everyone was like talking like cra-zy!! so loud! lol. then yew onn came to class sprouting a new hairstyle. botak. lol. he still looks kinda weird. and everyone has seemed to have grown taller! thats not fair!!!!!!! im still so short! humph! then wenyi kept on saying that my hair is super long already. lol. i plan to cut it. but at the same time, i dont really feel life cutting it. sigh. so fickle minded.
er, cant think of anything else to post so yeah.
oh ya!, erm, i dont think i would post as often as i did during the first semester. fierst reason is probably coz im lazy and second reason being that i want to spend more time on other things.

er, i havent been blogging about what i have been doing for quite some time already so am going to now.
er, on 18 jun, went to AMK Hub to watch movie with Hazel and Tricia. then i met tricia at the YCK station then take mrt to go to AMK Hub where we met Hazel. then it was all because of tricia that we were late!!! supposed to meet her at 11.15am at yck station but she woke up at 10.45 so only met at 11.25. and we were supposed to meet hazel at 11.30 outside pepper lunch. then i saw tricia with rebonded hair man!!!! omg, she looks so different! then she didnt tell hazel to surprise her. so we went ot eat at pepper lunch and then we decided on what movie to watch. i would never in the life of me admit this but i will. we decided to watch hannah montana the movie. gasp and utter insurprise all you want but that is what we actually did! anyways, so after the movie, we went to J8 and then took mrt back to yck. then we met xuan fu there!!! then he was like so shocked that tricia rebonded her hair! lol so we all walked and talked until the traffic junction where tricia and hazel have to continue walking straight, (hazel's bus stop is there and tricia's house is there) while xuan fu and i turned left to the condo we stay in. wah. very long walk leh. then xuan fu was like talking about his life in RI while i was like "uh huh-ing" and "oh wow-ing" he is very talkative.
then yesterday was my brother's birthday!!!!!

haha. he is finally 12. lol. so we woke up and then played treasure hunt with him. except that the "treasures" are his presents. we bought him soccer socks, soccer shin protection, chealsea jersey. then we went like almost around the whole of singapore to look for his trombone case and mouthpiece. then cannot find. so we proceeded for lunch at tony roma's for lunch. i love the food there man!!!! :)))))) then had my dental appointment at 3pm. then the dentist said that is my teeth is dose not move and is stable already, he will be able to take of the braces!!!!!!! woots! yes!!! 25 july is the date!!!!! :)))) haha. then my brother's birthday wish was that i dont take out my braces on his birthday. so mean. but he got it anyway.

then after that went home to relax for a while then went to AMK hub for dinner and to watch transformers; revenge of the fallen!!!!! my brother and i was sooooo excited about that movie!!!! then movie was soso only lah. not fantastic. the previous one was better.

then while i was eating dinner, i was told that there will not be any guzheng today!!!!! yes!!!! thats why im here blogging and not in school have guzheng. :)))))

(oh ya, i finished reading deathly hallows and now am reading harry potter and the order of the pheonix. :DDD im so pleased with myself. this is the first time i read 3 harry potter book in a period of one week! :DDDD oh ya! and yesterday, before the movie, there was a trailer on harry potter and the half blood prince. the movie looks so niceee!!!! i NEED to watch it man!!!!) (oh ya!!!! the songs New Divide by Linkin Park and 21 Guns by GreenDay kept on playing throughout the whole movie!!!! they were playing it before the movie, they were playing it in the middle of the movie, and were playing it at the end of the movie!! anyway, the songs are nice lah so cant really complain)

erm, i have just finished reading harry potter and the half blood prince a few minutes ago. it would be the 3rd time im reading this book. i needed to re-read it coz i had completely forgotten the whole frigin story although i read i 2 times before! (oh no, im not that old, am i?) erm, if you didnt know, im a harry potter fan. (like who is not?) yeah, i have read all the books before and love all of them!! :) cant wait for the movie releases! when i was reading that dumbledore was force to drink the potion to retrieve the "horcrux", i was like trying to not cry. omg. the way how J.K Rowling write that chapter is just so damn sad lah! *snif*
now im reading harry potter and the deathly hallows coz i also kinda forgot everything except the main plot and the last chapter of the book. the book which i hate most from the series is the order of the phoenix, the 5th book. coz its sooooo sad. the professor umbridge was like so...so...soo....harsh and made harry's life so miserable. wah. i only remember reading that book like once or twice only lor. so sad!!!! argh

how i spent my saturday!

erm, yesterday i woke up at 6am to go to malaysia!!!! yay! erm, we were stuck in the traffic jam for like 1half hours. -.- so long. then bought breakfast and went to my granmother's house to see my cousins, aunts and uncles and my grandma.
then at 10am, we (the females) went to the photo studio to put on make up and do the hair. then there were like wigs and hair extension in the room and then my mum and my aunts were like saying what hairstyles they should put. then coz my family was supposed to take photo first, my mum put on her make up after my grandma. (poor grandma, she has to be in almost every single photo.) then the person asked if she want extensions then she said yes. then the person gave her a goldilocks hairstyled one and all of us (my aunt and cousins and myself) were laughing like crazy! she ended up putting curled extensions but not goldilocks ones. haha. then it was my turn! i then changed into my black dress. its damn nice. my make up was very minimal (but it still managed to cover most of my pimples)and she tide my hair up into a ponytail and made a messy effect on it. its quite nice i must admit. xD my hairstyle turned out to be the simplest amoung all the females! (with exception of my grandma) haha. all my aunts had curled hair extensions and my cousins, elaine(21 years old) and amaris(14 years old) had hundreds of pins in their hair. elaine and amaris' hairstyles were super nice lah! then the guys came and it was the photo taking time! oh ya, all the guys had to put on make up!!!! but very very very very very little.
after that, we had a buffet with all my cousins and aunts and uncles and my god grandfather and aunt. we stayed there until like 4pm! we mostly crapped about stupid thingys.
then we went back and watched a few movies. the horsemen was super duper nice!!!!!! so suspensful!!!!!!! then watch alittle bit of kill bill. then watched yes man. it was funnt, but not fantastic. my cousins and i played cards. then we had a birthday cake for my brother (23 june 1997), elaine (16 june 1988) and my grandma (29 june, forgot what year). then we sang and ate the cake. it was cheese cake. bleh. honestly, i hate cheese cake. but since i love cake, i ate it anyways. (: im so greedy. xD then watch a little bit of australia and then we had to go back to singapore. T.T noooo.... why must time fly so fast?! my cousins had to go back the next day coz school for them starts today. sad. looking forward to the next time i see them!!! hopefully this december hols. if not, CNY next year!!!!!! sigh, so long. but their visits are worth the wait!!!!!!

yay!!!!!!!!!!! im back from my holiday in phuket!!!!!!! i miss my home, my bed, my comp, my TV etc...

er, ya, so the holiday was really nice. got to eat a lot of seafood. and tom yum!!!! :))))) erm, ya.
on the firt day,
arrived at night. then i just fell on my bed and went to la la land while my parents had a massage and i duuno what my brother was doing.

second day,
er, we went to change room coz our room tooo small. then the hotel let us upgradw to a much bigger room........FOR FREE!!!!! so cool right?! anyways, then went to eat at Lotus. its very near our hotel and the food was good. the restuarant was like next to the sea and was super nice!!!! the ambiance there was simply magical!!!!! er, then we went for the show FantaSea. it supposed to be a very popular show with tourist. the show was soso only lah. nothing spactacular but not really that horrible.

third day.
erm, my dad went scuba diving and had to leave at 7something in the morning. then i was too tired to wake up and see him off so i just sleeept through. finally woke up at around 8 or 9 something and have breakfast at around 10 something. then, we hired a cab to bring us around phuket. we went shopping for dried foods (we ended up buying a whole box of it!), Chelsea stuff (my bro wanted them) and clothes and bags. i bought this bag, which cost like $50+ in singapore for like $10 in phuket!!!!! soooo cheap right?! ya. then my father came back from diving. apparently, the dive wasnt really good as the waters were really choppy and visibility wasnt good at all. and whats worse is tht my dad fell and so 3 of his toes were extremly painful and he kinda caught a cold. then we went to Tom Yum Goong for dinner. it was also next to the sea but the food wasnt really as nice as Lotus. oh ya! me and my bro went go karting.

day 4,
er, i think we went swimming at the pool which was really fun and then in the afternoon, we hired a cab to bring us around phuket again. we ate at Baan Rim Pa, and yes, you guessed it, was next to the sea. food was ok but not as nice as Lotus though. the ambiance was great. after that, we went to watch Simon Cabaret! what makes this show so special is that all of the showgirls are guys. yups! you heard me right! they are trannies!!! BUT they look really really good. better then most girls would. some however, still had a trace of masculinity in them. the show was really nice. enjoyed it loads! oh ya! and my bro also went go karting.

5th day and 6th
we really lazed around most of those days. and on the 6th day at night, we flew back to Singapore. Home Sweet Home! :))))

oh ya!!!! i cant wait for friday where i get to go into malaysia to meet my cousins from KL!!!! and on saturday, we gonna take a family photo at the studio! i hope all my pimples will be gone my then....

hopefully, i would be able to finish all my holiday homework by the 3rd week so that i can at least have the 4th week to rest. :)))))

er, yesterday got back chem paper. before the teacher gave out the paper, i was like damn nervous lah! then when he called me to the front to give me the paper, he announced to the whole class "if im not mistaken, nerissa got the highest" then i was like standing there stunned. huh? me? highest? not true one lah! and i was right. after giving a few more people's test paper. mr too said bryan was the highest. -.- my highest in class position was gone in that instant. gone. poof. sigh. nvm, according to syahril, bryan got the same marks as me. and so did meryl. syahril also said that vincent got a friggin 27/30. not fair. why must my class be soooo full of smart ass people. T.T then i went back with shannon and he said that he got 28. T.T sigh. i'll just have to face the fact that in xinmin, i'll NEVER be the top in class for a single subject. but im still really please with my chem marks. (:
then later, i had a dental appointment and the dentist told me that my molar is out of place and the top and bottom centre line is not aligned. but people are not really particular about the latter, then asked if i was in a hurry to take my braces off. then coz the dentist was doing something with my mouth, my dad answered "no lah, we are not in a hurry." -.- im in a lot of hurry to take my braces off! i need it off like now! so then of course i couldnt say that the dentist had to do another session for me. it'll be at least 2 months more before i can take it off. T.T nvm, must tahan. sigh.

i know i have a really unique name and i actually like it coz i can stand tall and proudly say that not many people have the same name as me. my name, Nerissa, has Greek roots from it and it means "love of the sea" lol. so my husband is the sea! haha. MOVING ON! er, however, whenever someone has a unique name, EVERYONE! remembers/spells/pronounces it wrongly! -.-
EXAMPLE 1
my father's best freinds for like an eternity keeps on calling me "melissa" -.- wth. i know it sounds alike, but "m" and "n" and "r" and "l" is different! omg!
morris on the first few days of school thought i was called "clarissa" -.- that is seriously idiotic. then coz he needed to do the seaeting arrangement thingy, he asked me how to spell my name. then he was like "c l what ar?" then i was like wth?! then i just took the paper and wrote my name for him. then he finally realised. -.-
another time, my art teacher was asking what my name was and so i replied. but he heard it as teresa. wth. and at that time, my nickname was mother teresa (thanks to stupid micole!) and so ya, it made the name calling worse.

duuno why i suddenly thought of someone and felt like blogging about that person.

someone was my number one enemy in primary 3 to about 4. then my friend was close to someone and invited someone to join our clique coz someone was emoing. someone said that somone was better off without any friends. self pity. then, i was foolish enough to allow someone to join our clique.

slowly, i became fond of someone and treated someone like a close friend who i really treasured. then someone argued with my other friend coz of a petty matter. both of them fought for a few months. then i was foolish enough to side someone and not my friend who turned out to be one of my best friends ever. someone made me get involved into their fight and made me suffer a broken friendship with my clique.

after much dispute, my clique reunited again and became close friends. but i could not regain my former self, that is the one which had accepted someone. my other side was begining to show, clearly. the friend which i had been against during the arguement was my partner in crime. both of us shared our dislike for someone.

someone also had to steal the show. she had to be the best, show off. someone had to steal other friends from me. the dislike between us was still strong, but both of us tried to ignore it.

someone became friends with smart ass. smart ass was foolish enough, just like me, to fall into someone's trap. smart ass believed everything someone said. during the NSW maths test last year, someone and smart ass sat on the same table and smart ass allowed someone to capoy smart ass' answers. then stupid someone got a friggin distinction for that maths paper while i got a credit! stupid.

then someone saw a person in our class who used to be her friend when she was in another clique. then this person got kicked outta the clique. so someone invited this person to join our clique. then somehow or rather, this person got along better with us then someone. i honestly prefered this person. then someone got jealous and went into emo mode. loser. serves her right.

now, we are thank god seperated from each other. im so mean.

sorry, i blogged yesterday that i would continue today, but i want to post this thingy first and then continue with that.
today, was our school's guzheng sfy. then i am one of the assistant to help move the percussion. then i didnt have to attend any lesson wooohooo!
so sit at the hall over there while the seniors practice with the instructor. then halfway while they practising, mrs knor was like peeping through the hall glass door and then popped her head inside and said, "good luck guzheng! jiayou!" and then we all were like laughing like crazy lor.he so funny.
anyways, slack until like 11 plus then we need to go republic poly.
reach there already, then the assistant supposed to go to help take the percussion. but me, wanqi and peishan were like blur blur dunno where to go then ended up staying with the performing group. -.- so followed them to tuning room. then the assistant supposed to go tuning room, so we lucky. :) didnt get lost. :)
then they tune tune tune. then the assiatant need to go to backstage to set up the percussion. then everyone was like damn nervous already lor. so we met the performing group backstage and waited a few anxious minutes for our turn.
then when i ban every thing outside already, all the assistants went to the seats to sit. their first peice was not very good. it supposed to be a cheerful one budden, like very men. but the 2nd peice made up for it. :)
since we were the last sec school to perform, we all went to eat lunch and blah blah blah.
then we supposed to stay for the results, but the teacher said that we had to go back. then we all started complaining. but we still had to go back.
then when we were like reaching xinmin alr, around the turning, someone in our bus said that we got............(drumroll)
GOLD WITH HONOURS!
woohooo! then we were all like shouting like crazy, man! mr zainal was there and smiling when we reached school. then we started cheering very loud

going to tell y'all bout my weekend, if you can survive the crapping.
on saturday, i went to the orthodontist to do my braces. i think i was like supposed to remove it that session coz the centre line supposed to be stable. BUT, my teeth very stubborn shifted back to its original position so must start wearing the rubber band to pull back my teeth again. sighs... walao lor. why must my teeth be as stubborn as me?! sigh... at least 2 more months before i can take out the braces lor. i put on at like june when i was p5. now also most 2 years already still havent take out. my treatment supposed to be like 18 months but now almmost 2 years lor! *cry* never mind, when i take out, i will have nicer teeth than everyone! (or at least i hope)
on sunday, went to ivan's party. had tuition before and supposed to end at like 12.30 but in the end, coz of my stupid bro, ended at 1pm. then after that, my mother was like complaining about my outfit. -.- so had to change. then she also complained about my bro's clothes. wth. then i said "im not going there to impress anyone" but then she say that the little miss shirt very informal and that when you go to someone's party, must dress nice. -.- anyways, we finally left the house at 1.30pm and then drove to the party.
since i was kinda late, the guys and girls seperated so coz ivan brought my bro and i to the field where all the guys were. then i had to call rx they all to meet them at compasspoint.
then blah, blah blah.
er, then we went to the swimming pool. very fun.
mum nagging already, shall stop here and continue tomorrow, if i have the time.

er, today was kinda an ok day. quite fun actually. during recess, we had water fight. :) fun! haha. water + 1o3ers = chaos (but alot of fun) haha! then everyone was splashing at everyine else with their nike water bottles. lol. then some people like randy took rain water to splah on amanda. haha. lol. dunt mind having water fight again. :)

on saturday night, was like talking on msn with levinson. want to share it with y'all coz its like damn funny.
we were like talking about our ccas and then in go ask him what cca calvin is in. then he ask me guess, he also said it was very obvious. then coz calvin told me that he join a uniform group, i started naming all the uniformed groups i could think of. (both of them are in cat high so gb is definitely out) then when i said sjab, levinson was like "you think calvin want to same people meh?" then i was like laughing like crazy. sooo true. i think calvin will be like "ok lor, you die also not my prob" haha. the truth hurts. oh ya, then levinson kept on bring peishan up in our conversation. he even asked me to watch this video where he said that person look like peishan. then i was like "wa. you so desperate that you even look for peishan look a likes ah" haha. if y'all forgot, levinson is rumoured to like peishan. haha!

yo! going to post about school today. i think i may have forgotten alot of things as i have short term memory loss. and maybe long term too. in short, im forgetful.
erm, during lang art, ms fizhah show us a video on the holocaust period. (if you dont know what that is, go look it up yourself. im too lazy to explain) the video included disturbing scenes where they showed how the nazi tortured the jews and prisoners. its very disturbing and i dont advise anyone of you to watch it. i didnt really puke or anything after that but wenqi felt like puking doing recess. erm, i just the exposure to CSI at such a young age kinda made me immune to it. but if you ask me, this video is more disturbing as they show living people suffering while CSI deals with dead people. anyways, ya.
art was ok.

erm, if you guys didnt know, i have a laptop! yay! its a hp one. dunno what model. got it like a few weeks ago. before this was using the family desktop
however, there is a catch. wiith this new lappy, there is this thingy called parental control. this application basically allows parents to restrict the websites which their children go to. and that is exactly what my parents are doing. T.T im not crying coz i suddenly cant porn websites coz i dont! im crying coz this parental control thingy is so strict with what is considered to be adult content. wth. i cant even visit people's blogs! wth. tricia, ruixin and berlinda are just to name a few. and if you see their blogs, there is nothing at all in their blogs with adult content! at all!
whats more, i cant watch youtube vids. not that i watch porn but i cant even watch music videos!
i understand that mummy and daddy love me and all. and will accept the fact that parental control is here to stay...

today was Xinmin's homwcoming and speech day.
was so excited that i woke up at 7am, when i had to be there at 8.30. but in the end, i still was late. -.- then ran up to the guzheng room on the 4th floor. -.- they should seriously move the dance room to the 4th floor and guzheng to the 2nd. anyways, when i reached, had to change into guzheng tee lent by some seniors coz we dont have the tee yet. then slack and sweat all the way until dunno what time when need to move the zheng jia, chairs etc. when the thingy finished, went to my class at the swing area. we were doing dunking machine. :))))))
then slack all the way until calvin smsed and said he was reaching. so went ot school gate to look for him. waited until he arrived and then brought him all around the whole school to see most of the ex-andersonians in Xinmin. he dosent recognise most of them! calvin, you are so anti-social.

haha. so anyways, calvin left at 1pm coz he had tuition. then, i later mended the stall and was very fun. :)))) then, continue like that and then changed shift. then realised that ivan was not was not wet, so took a pail of water and chased him around to splash him. haha. then he later splashed me and etc...it continued until the end of the whole thing with occasional breaks. then there was one point where randy was like holding a pail of water when both of us were like 'fighting'. then both of us ran to hime then was like asking him to give us the pail. then randy was like "no, this is my pail" thenivan put his hand inside the pail and then splash the water at my face, with my mouth open.(btw, the water is very very murky and dirty) ivan, you are so going to get it!!!!!
then peiyu,xinhui and darleen arrived. then they say they want to dunk me. so went up again. then, got dunked.
then morris told me that i they havent use finish the amount they paid, so need to go up at least 2 more times. and i did. and got dunked again, and again. -.- so in total, got dunked 4 times. -.- even syahril said "wah, Nerissa, how many times you want to get dunked?" lol
then was on duty until the end of the whole thing so couldnt go with peiyu they all.
then, we dunked mdm liew and mr zainal. lol
haha. then when the whole thing ended, all oh-3ers were basically soaked. lol.
when the whole thingy finished, morris passed all of us nuts. (dont xiang wai, its not that nuts, its literally peanuts that nuts) then coz my brother was over there and is allergic to nuts, when we all were throwing them around, then he said "let the world be nut free!" then vijey was like "no, it cant. then there will be no more babbies" then i was like still blur blur dunno what he meant. then i said but my brother is allergic to nuts. then kaw chun was like "erm, not that one" or something like that and i finally understood. (im not blur ok, i am just not perverted) then kaw chun was like laughing like crazy. lol. haha. so it basically ended like that. was very fun! cant wait for it next year!

ok, honestly, i dont really know much about him but i know that he started in pole position for the race. many people are now saying that he is gonna be the next big thing this year. and i think so too! he helped Brawn, in its debut season to win the first race. cool right?

erm, yesterday, i had sports day and had to go to hougang stadium at like 7am in the morning! making me wake up so early on a saturday morning? what has the world turned into?!
anyways, i suppose it went quite well as my house, barracuda, got overall 2nd. :)

then after that had to do home econ project with ruixin, berlinda and wenqi so my parents brought us to compasspoint to buy the ingredients for the project. amanda and louise tagged along. then while we were eating lunch, berlinda, ruixin and wenqi kept on saying the falcon cheer.

then dunno what the other cheer was. very irritating leh!
then went ruixin house to cook the dinner we planned and im sooooo very very proud to say that its edible!!! yay! lol. erm, but ruixin's mum basically did almost ever thing for us. xp
the after that, wen tback home at about 5 something.then went for dinner at a very cheap japanese restaurant. it was actually quite nice. then i wore the not-so-high-but-still-considered-high heeled shoes coz i wanted to look taller :) i was not walking, but waddling all the way. xp
then i had my dad teach me how to walk. omg, i am an embarrassment to females. even my dad can walk better than me.(but of course not in heels)

as some of you may know, i went for guzheng camp on tuesday to wed. at first, i was like very reluctant to go coz i will miss my bed, pillow, comp etc... gbut it turned out quite fun.
we had like this food hunt around singapore. we went to plaza singapura, velocity at novena, J8 etc. then my group was like running around like crazy. the people around us must think we are cognitively challenged. xp then i think all the guzheng members are obsessed with spraying water at people. coz during the blind mice game where we had to go around the whole frigging school blindfolded, the camp committee poeple kept on spraying water at us. then we were all drenched. we also played water bombs! super duper uber fun sia! but i kena wet like shit! i was one of the wettest leh! not fair. yichan not wet at all lor!
haha. so this is basically a summary of what we did. :)

erm, am posting in school comp lab. im bored. now is actually physics but Mr Ng brought us to the comp lab to play games instead. he said that he today actually wanted to give the test paper back to us, but coz 102 havent taken the test yet, then he just brought us to the comp lab for fun. :)))))
i need to study for my theory exam on sat. sad. tricia is also taking her theory exam on the same day, same time, and taking the same paper (both of us are Grade 5) BUT she taking at starhub centre and im taking at dunno-what-primary-school at woodlands. sigh. have super duper uber gooooood news! i got accepted into the Xinmin debate team! yay! i thought that i would not make it coz they ask some current affairs questions which i have not idea at all on how to answer it. and then must write a short essay on the topic on 'would you abolish the death penalty?' then later must present to the debate coach. i like stumbled alot of times in while trying to make a point. i was very very clear that i was damn nervous lor! so scary. then after that, had to go for an interview with the teacher in charge of debate. that, i think went better than the presentation. im soooo happy! yay! now, i can finally persue my passion of debate! woot!

then we went to changi beach on saturday in the morning and spent some time there. very relaxing. then my mum said that she cannot tahan die die must go holiday in march and it die die die must be at the beach. lol. then also ate ice cream over there. :))))) i took durian flavour, my bro took choc chip peppermint and my parents took ripples, whatever that is. then went to ikea to buy a brand new computer table. our old one is like torn and tattered already. who can blame it, we had it for like more than 5 years. then me and my bro's itchy fingers go peel the outer layer of the paint and then since the printer was there the ink all kena the wooden table then cannot remove. so we bought a new one. i like the design. :)))))

Berlinda also got full marks. id rathert not tell my chinese marks coz it is like very very very low.

today, i found out that i am in Barracuda. woot! it is a house in my school for those of you who didnt know. there are three other houses, Jaguar which is yellow, falcon which is green and scorpion which is red. Barracuda is blue. Tricia also in Barracuda but Peishan in Falcon. Shannon was the same colour as in primary school, yellow. lol. then Jasper and i became more similiar. both from APS, both in Xinmin now, both in guzheng and both of us are born on the same day. lol
then remember i talked about a girl, Huixin who shares the same birthday as me and the same name. well, i just found out she is a Tan too! so conclusion, Tan Hui Xin Nerissa and Tan Hui Xin from Xinmin sec are born on the same day. cool. but scary. heng she not in the same cca, same class or same house as me. she is in scorpion. and she also doesnt look like me. if we were exactly the same, it would be very very very scary and confusing. lol

on 23 jan, which was like a week ago, Xinmin had a concert for CNY. and btw, it was long and ver very very very ...... boring. XP sit there for like 2+ hours. my god! my ass and leg hurt like hell!! then it was mostly about the guang gao competition. then there was like a dance which was abit pornographic. then like all the boys in 03 and 04 were like staring at the person who was dancing. (which was a girl btw) lol!!! so then supposed to be released at 12.15. budden got concert so supposed to end at 12.30. then dunno why they only release us at 1pm! so me, peishan and felicia (ex-andersonians) took 72 back to anderson. then saw tricia(also from same pri sch) at bus stop. then we all stop at YCK station. so walk to anderson.
in anderson, saw like a loooooooot of familiar faces man! so we mainly spent the time talking about our sec schools and keep on saying how much we miss anderson.
ms r had to go coz she had to go to drama.
when ms r drama finish, we called her down then we all take photos together. :)))))) then already 4something. so need to go back already. then levinson,calvin,carmen,tricia,shuaiming aka fats/gay,hazel and moi took photo at the newly opened sheltered walkway. lol. then i asked my bro help take photo and he also knows the shuaiming's nickname is fats and gay. so he was like. 'ok, 1,2,3, say FATS!!!' then we will all be like FATS!!!! lol.
then later like 11pm, went in to malaysia to go to our grandmother's house. its our family tradition. :))) and coz my cousins like in KL, its one of the only times we get to see each other. now i miss them sooooooooooo much.

havent posted for a very very long time. sorry, its partly coz im buzy and lazy...
erm, so just to update you guys, im coping well in Xinmin. not used to some of their practises coz not the same as Anderson. made a couple of great friends but i still spend my 1 hour recess with Tricia and Peishan. (sorry lah, im anti-social) erm, i think i am coping ok with the work load. i have started the external guzheng classes las week. tomorrow will be 2nd lesson. have to start from grade 1 coz my foundation not good. sad. anyways, CNY is coming up! yay! which means my birthday is coming up too!!! yay!!! cant wait! talking about birthdays, i would like to wish Levinson and my aunt a very happy birthday!!!! and to yi chan and calvin a happy belated birthday!!! and just in case i forget, happy advanced birthday to ting ting, hazell and yuyan!!! erm, oh yah, i finally tried my father fruit cake!! yipee!!! i tried it like around new year. very nice. if you have a chance to come to my house and we saved some fruit cake for you to try, cannot refuse, ok!!!!!! coz you may only try it once in your entire lifetime!!! my mum for heaven's sake didnt get to try it until now although she new my father for 20+ year!!!
er, cant wait for 23!!!!! yay!! will be able to see most (i hope all) ex-andersonians at anderson for CNY celebration!!!! seriously cant wait!!! I miss everyone!!!! especially all ex-sixeighters!!!!! yay!!!

first day of school

today was the first day of school. erm, ok, so i woke up at 6am today and reached Xinmin at around 7.10am. went to the office to ask them which class i was in. so, i found out i am a 103-er/nian. then saw pei shan and shannon and talked to them. (turned out i was in 103, peishan 104, shannon 105 and tricia 106). sang the national anthem etc. principal gave a speech. then we went to our classes. my form teacher's name is Ms Hafizhah and co-form is Mr Too. they seem quite nice. so went through everything like class rules etc. then, it was recess! do you know that we are suuuuuper lucky this year as they only applied the 1 hour recees rule this year!!! woot!!! so went to find tricia, pei shan and shannon. then we were all talking about stuff for the whole 1 hour. then went back to class. then have to go to the hall for assembly. wah! the discipline master, Mr Singh, the CIP teacher talked for like 1 hour plus. my butt cheeks hurt! and my ankle too!!! so after that was lunch. then we had a tour from our class mentors, Huishi and Stefanie both from Anderson Primary. oh yah, did i mention that i was the only Andersonian in my class! so sad right! same with tricia and shannon. but pei shan's class have 5 Andersoinians! soo good! anyways, so when we finished the tour, our class mentors made us sit in a very huge circle and introduce ourselves. just need to say the name and what prinary school you were from. so after all of that, we went back to our class and learned the oriantation cheer. it goes like this :

woot! its 2 hours more! argh!!!! my brother is soooo irritating!!!!!!!! today, i helped him create a new blog. soo i had to change his blog skin and every thing on my own!!!! argh!!! then, just now, he kept on bugging me like what an irritating bro would do to help him add some songs!!!! argh!!!!! while i was peacefully trying to relax for the new year, my brother has to come in and make welcoming the new year a whole lot more interesting. yea, thanks erwin! thenks alot!! then he still has to complain to my mum like an innocent kid and my mum made me help him! argggg!!! then, in the end, he didnt even say a sincere thank you! yea, what a great brother i have!!!
ok, something nicer to talking about. erm, mym dad went to the UK to study before he met my mum. and over there, he lived with his friends and relatives. and alllllll of them said that my dad makes brilliant rum fruit cake and spicy yet delicious curry! but, somehow or rather, neither my mum, my pulling-your-hair-out-irritating bro, and i havent tried his famous dishes before! so very have been bugging him, not the way my bro did, to make us at least his fruit cake. so today, we cut up the dates etc and we had to soak it in cherry (sp? i think its some kind of wine) for 2-3 weeks. so the cake should be completed by my birthday! yay! so i think my cousins will also be able to try my father's cake too coz my birthday next year is the eve of chines new year. erm thats all i wanted to say!
i know its now exactly 11pm yet, but who cares!

omg, tomorrow is the very last day of 2008. a year has passed sooooooo fast!!! one moment, im seating in class haveing loads of homework to do to prepare for the PSLE and the next, im here waiting to go to a brand new school. why does time need to pass so fast?
erm, as i think i said in earlier post, my cousins, Amaris and Matthew, from KL came to JB to visit my grandmother and then came down to Singapore to stay with us for a 2 days. they went back today. i had loads of fun with them!! we went swimming and play wii and PS2. i love it when my cousins come o Singapore or we go up to KL!!!
anyways, has anyone of you watched twilight??? i soooo desperately want to watch it!! i have heard so many good reviews about it, sssooooo very tempted!! i meet hazel, yuyan and tricia in school yesterday when we went to collect our edusave awards. then hazel proposed to go watch a movie today or tomorrow. but on both days i have tuition. damn.

i dunt know why but i have a sudden itch to write about my addictions. (its a hint!) erm, whenni was in universal studios in LA, my mum bought this snack called Churros. its very very popular over there but i think not so much in Singapore. so its like a 20-30cm long stick (something like you tiao) and its basically covered in cinnamon. it is like super addictive!!! ohhh, i love it!!! but the only store in singapore which i know sells churros is in thomson plaza outside the food court. so when we bought it this week, i was able to eat all three of the churros immediately after a heavy dinner at swensen (dunno how to spell. and i also dunt get the advertisements).
i have another addiction to something but its not food. nor is it drugs etc. its to the show Friends!!! i know its a very old show but its damn funny!!!!!

erm, i also have an addiction to the Oceans series. love all the movies!!! it changes the way we actually see thieves. very cool!!! i also love harry potter and am currently addicted to a brittish band called mcfly. i know i told you guys to check them out countless of times but i simply cant help myself. their music is very catchy and very easy to move to. they are suprisingly very good at covering songs like black or white and i kissed a girl.

yo! erm, you remember that i said i was going to appeal to a few schools. well, i appealed to xinmin sec and i was called to go for an audition on monday. coz i went under Guzheng, they got the gz instructor to test me. then after the test he said that i was playing a very difficult song for my standered. and my foundation wasnt very good. so he said that if i were to be admitted to xinmin, i would have to take up extra gz classes at his gz studio. and he also said that i would have to study very very hard coz xinmin is a very academic based school. so when my parents heard that, we were doubtful that i would be accepted to xinmin.
but on christmas eve, they called my mum to say i had been accepted to xinmin. and my mum immediately told my dad. but they didnt tell me the good news until just before dinner.
so, yah, i have to say good bye to AMK sec and hello to xinmin!
erm, i dunt know what class i am being posted to but i hope i can be in the same class as peishan or tricia. :)
oh ya, i would be going to JB tomorrow to visit my cousins from KL. we are coming back on the same day.

today went to amk sec for registration. then realised that xin pei and yong kang in the same school as me. me and xin pei in the same class. thenn saw a few other ex-andersonians. like alvin, yu jing, and our lasttime classmate jia xheng. still got alot more though. oh yah, me and yu jing same class also. so the principal of amk was quite nice lah, not so bad. the teachers are also very nice. and my form teacher's name is Mrs Seah. she is quite nice too. bought the uniform today. their shirt very long leh. its like until the middle of my thigh. the skirt also very long leh. and my house colour is red. the whole class's house colour is red for crying out loud! soo weird.
so after the whole thing over. me and my mum took bus back while my father drove back coz they say i must learn how to go back. from the amk sec the bus stop, i can take 76, 268 or 269.
hmm, shuai ming sms me that he go anderson sec. i know that levinson and calvin go cat high. (when i ask levinson what school he go to, he sms me "dog low". go figure out wth dog low ha sto do with the school that they are going to.) erm, qw, cwx jonathan and joanna go pierce. erm, darleen go guang yang. lxp told me that txf and pei yu go raffles. micole go crescent girls. erm, i think that is all the classmates who i know go to what school. so put what school you going to in my tag board.

yo! erm today got the resu;ts as to what school i am going to. so im going to...amk sec. dun react pls. i like your cute/handsome face, so dun screw it with a "WHAT?????!!!!!!!!" expression. yo! erm, i think something is wrong with my computer. while i was watching a youtube video, the computer screen went all white. just a few seconds into the video, i think about 5, then the page would go blank but the url to the page is still there and is exactly the same. weird. then after that i watched another video and exacftly the same thing happened! i really think that i have to buy a new computer. we have had this compuiter for like i think about 5 years or more! must seriously think of buying a new one.
oh yah, did any of you receive the edusave award thingy? i got the merit bursary (sp?) and the eagles award. tricia also got the eagles award. im not eligible to take the money for the merit thingy but the eagles award will entitle me to get erm, $120, if im not wrong. hmm...
oh yah, i remembered thaqt last year i got that award and the good progress award. then my cousins were there and when i opened the eagles letter and found out that i can get $120 i told my cousins and parents. then, my cousin, Jeremy, said "wah! so next year CNY must treat us to dinner". then when i opened the other letter and told them i was able to receive an additional $100. they were all like "you owe us another dinner".

ok, i know im lame...
and those people who dun get why he said CNY. its coz my cousins from my father's side all live in KL. so, my family and i only get to see them like at most 4 times a year. and CNY would be one of them.
hmm. did i mention that my birthday would be on CNY eve next year...

today, basically every single friggin shop in america (or at least i think but its most likely true coz of all the friggin advertisements and poster everywhere!) is having a sale today coz its the day after thanksgiving. all the shops closed on thanksgiving btw. so they were having sales like the first 500 people get 50% discount and they open at literally in the middle of the night!!! like 3,4,5am in the morning!! and like i mentioned in the previous post, he went to buying the GPS. then when the rest of us woke up, we went to DIsneyland!

we sat on quite a few rides including

Indiana Jones Adventure(IRC. my brother was scared of it. mum suprisingly like it),

Huanted Mansion(R. quite boring. at first my bro didnt want to go coz he scared),

Space Mountian(IRC. damn nice. totally dark so you dont know whats coming up),

Splash Mountian(mostly R, but a little ORC. prepare to get wet is all i can say!),

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad(ORC. kindda mild roller coaster. but still nice),

Matterhorn Blobsled(ORC and IRC. quite nice),

Autopia(you have to drive a car but you dunt need a driver's liscence. not bad lah),

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster(R. you have like a toy gun and you must shoot at the bad guys), Enchanted Tiki Room(S. boring dun go),

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage(R.cluastrophobic people like me cannot sit, but effects are nice),

Jungle Cruise(R. interesting. not bad),

Honey I Shrunk The Audience(S. 3D must watch),

woke up damn eraly in the morning coz today, we are going to Vegas, baby! we are going to sin city. (btw, we were following a tour in Vegas and San Francisco.)hmm, took us pactically the whole day to go from LA to Vegas. at night we took the night tour are saw Vegas' true colours...and lights. man, they use alot of lights, you know?! Dang! went to Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian etc. too many i forgot. but all i can say is that Vegas is the place to be if you want to have some serious fun...dun xiang wai, ok?

today, we are going to the Grand Canyon. so we had to wake up at like 6am in the morning to avoid the other tourist and to get there early. the bus ride took a few hours coz we actaully had to cross the boarder from Nevada to Arizona. When we arrived, it was about 11am. we opted to go for a helicopter ride to bring us down to the river. at first i said that i was going for the skywalk, right? but the tour guide said that the helicopter ride was more worth it even thouygh it cost a alot more.

the helicopter ride did not disappoint and the scenery was simply breath-taking! me and my dad were holing out digital cameras the whole time and simply snaping at everything. trying to get the perfect shot. even my mum who is not much of a photographer herself kept taking pictures with her handphone.

so when we reached th bottom of the canyon, there was a boat ride which was as good as the helicopter ride. i personally feel very fortunate to have seen 2, no 3 totally different views of the same majestic,picture perfect canyon. one on the canyon itself, another way up in the sky, and another from the bottom. and at any angle you see this magnificent formation of nature, you will simply be blown away.

so we went back to Vegas and we booked tickets to see the Blue Man Group perform at the Venetian. they are a permant act at the prestigious hotel. the show was very funny. watch if you have the chance. but some other people think otherwise. soo, it up to you to decide.

something other than my holiday

yo! erm i just wanted to update you guys on what happened. erm, i got a new phone!!! hip hip hurray for moi!!! ok, its not really a brand new phone, it was my father's. about a month back, he changed his old phone (sony ericsson k810i and my new phone) to a new one (i think its the samsung omnia). so, he asked me if i wanted his phone immediately after he got the omnia but i said no. however, during the trip, i realised that my phone would auto off. so when we came back he asked again and i said ok. so there you have it! thats how i got my new phone :)
erm, im going to visit my grandmother in malaysia tomorrow. we would be leaving in the morning and coming back in the late afternoon, i think.
oh ya, i forgot to mention that i think i most likely am suffering from jet-lag. now, im so used to the time in america.when its the afternoon here, it's night time in america so i tend to feel sleepy. and when its night time here, its in the day in america. so i would be tossing and turning in my bed trying but failing miserably to fall asleep. sigh. and i am also used to the coolness over there and i find it so bloody warm here. arggh!!

27 Nov 08 singapore time

woke up at around 2am and went to bathe and brush my teeth. i slept at like 8pm earlier that day so wasnt that tired but still very tired. erm, we book a mpv cab or a maxi cab (i forgot which one) eralier int the day too coz we have a lot of luggage bags. so we waited for the cab to arrive and drive us to the airport. over there, we coincidentally met our tour guide who went with us tto korea last year! whats more is that he would be going to the US too! we were on the same flight and staying in the same hotels for the first few days in LA and LV! soo cool! but theres more, after we checked in and finished eating our midnight toast box meal, we saw Denise Hong! the girl from our school who is in 6.9! my parents know mum so they started talking. they said that they were going to florida and were taking thwe same flight as us to Japan for transit.

so we got on tyhe plane at 6am and i watched "Wanted". its NC16 but, who cares. so anyways, the movie rocks!!! love it!!

Reached Japan at around 3pm Japan time. (its about 1 hour ahead of singapore) our next flight woul be at 5pm. so we parked ourselves at our gate and my mum went to look for a burberry shop. they say that brand the handbags are very cheap in Japan. but unfortunately they dun have that shop at the airport. so me and my bro go to McDonalds to buy fries a an ice cream. so, there was this ang moh in front of us then the person who was serving hin talked to him in english. then when the person saw my bro and i, she started saying i dunno what in Japanese. then i was like "erm...i want a medium fries and an ice cream." then she was like "opps" and then started talking to us in english. so after eating the fries and ice cream. we waited unti; we could board the plane.

reached LA at 8am on 27 Nov LA time. someone brought us to our hotel. not much to do today except shopping. it was thanksgiving day in the US so its a public holiday on that day and the day after. and a lot of shops giving discounts on that day and the day after.

today, we were supposed to go Disneyland, but me and my bro woke up at like 11am!!!! we planned to go there at 8-9am. and you need a whole day to finish covering Dineyland and another day to cover California Adventure Park which is also a part of Dineyland. so we decided to go shopping again.

oh yah, early in the morning of the next day at like 4am, my dad woke up to go to the shops nearby coz they were having a big promotion. and when he went there, he saw a lot of people over there too! so he bought a gps at a very discounted price.

yo! im finally back home in Singapore. the trip to america was fun! soooo cool! but while i was over there trying ever so hard to finish my over-sized Carl's Jr hamburger, i started to miss Singapore sooooo much, man! i miss the local food, the warm weather, and everything else! (including my soft bed...and pillow...) waw! im sooo happy to be back.
ok, lets talk more about my trip. the general details first on this post. i will post a fully detailed one in the next one/few post. including my thoughts and what we did during the day.
erm, we went to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco and then back to LA again. we stayed in america for 2 weeks before returning to Singapore at around 12:15am on friday the 12 of dec. we left on 27 dec at around 6am. (sorry made a mistake in the previous post. woke up at 2am and reached the airport at 3am.)
hmm, i suppose thats all you have to know for now. give you the full details in next post, yeah? ok, bb! off to watch youtube vids.

ok, now, lets create a happy feeling in this post instead of a sad on.
soooooo, im going to America on thrusday!!! yay!!!! i cant wait!!!! unfortunately, the flight is at 4am in the morning of 27 nov. so we must like be at the airport at like 2am!!!! damn!!! and when its like 4am, its i-dunno-what-time-but-its-not-sleeping-time in America, so my mum says that we have to adjust. so we should try to stay awake for the entire flight to Narita airport. (dosent Narita sound like Nerissa? that how my grand aunt remembers my mane, but she will always pronouce it as Narissa. ok, moving on...) but we will sleep that evening at 6pm and wake up at 2am.
luckily, there is in-flight entertainment to keep me entertained for 6-8h. but unfortunately, that is the only flight that we are taking with a tv at everyone's seat. the other flights dun have them. but on the bright side, we get to save about $2000 because we dunt have the tv!! i can spend it on shopping!!! yay!!!
so we will be going to LA, LV, San Francisco, Yosmite. oh ya, we will also go to the grand canyon! cant wait!! the is like a glass platform where you can walk on and its like kinda scary.
yeah, so im gong to pack now, bb!!!!

my horrible results

erm i got my results last thrusday and i got like 230...
i know what you are going to say, so dont say it.
omg!!! its so bad!!!! but on the bright side, i got all A. even for chinese!!!!!! yay!! btw, i used to fail chinese or just pass it. the highest i got this year excluding the PSLE was 60%. how horrible is that! but i improved so much!!! yay!! its either that i improved or that the paper was bloody easy. i know most of you are going to say the latter but i like to think that it was the former :)
so anyways, the first few days, there was a lot of crying. i think this was the first time in my entire life that i cried so much. (yes, io did cry a lot more when i was a baby so just take it as a figuratively, not literally) then my parents were very upset and even my uncaring brother was disappointed. but i suppose there is no point crying over spilt milk so i must move on...
sigh...

is it me, or does my post really seem to be more depressing?
anyways, so yeah today we will get our results. im very nervous and scared....
but i shall not think about that now.
yeaterday, my family and i went to AMK hub to buy this thing called an iZEST. it is something that you supposed to wear and i will im prove your posture. as you all know, i have a hunched back and i tend to slouch a lot. so my mum wanted to correct the problem and she bought me the iZEST. btw, i cost $178 so it better be worth it. anyways, you supposed to wear it for 2 hours everyday. its made of really soft material so its actually very comfortable compared to the other one i had. the other one was like fuper uncomfortable lor!!! but i like this one :)
so nothing else to talk about, so bye!!!

we, as in all the P6s will get our PSLE results tomorrow!!! you are either super excited to know your results coz you are damn good in your studies and confident that you will do well, or you are super nervous and dont want to know your results coz you know you will do horribly...i am the latter. i think most people will fall in this range, but people like Calvin will be very excited. Urgh. so scared!!! my cousin, who is in MGS(not PLMGS) now got like 262 fopr the PSLE last year!!!!! soooo pro right???!!!! damn!!! then during her prelims, she got 248!!! (she was in Ai Tong) soo pro rigtht???!!!! so good lor!!!! i also want her brain...
anyways, a few days ago, i got a new keyboard!!! yay!!! it feel so new whenever i type!!!! yay!! then on Friday, Tricia, Hazel and i will be going to watch madagascar 2!!! yay!!! cant wait!!!!!!
